  1996-1998: San Jose, Costa Rica
Now happily married and accompanying her husband while he got his MBA, Lisa worked in CCI’s central office. She, together with the executive director Bob Sabean , focused on administrative tasks, like re-shaping CCI’s mission and vision statements, creating their 10 core values, internal policies handbook, as well as writing two new editions of CCI training manuals.

  1998-2003: Tegucigalpa, Honduras
Independently, both Lisa and Alfredo felt the Lord leading to establish their home base here. After many years of travel, Lisa was more than ready to settle down in one location.

Having arrived just two weeks before Hurricane Mitch rained disaster on Honduras, CCI responded by holding several events for the children of the hurricane victims, thanks to the generosity of Lisa’s supporting churches and individuals.

The focus of her time in Honduras has been to write two new editions of the CCI training manuals and teachers’ editions, host short term work teams to Fountain of Life Camp , write a Games Encyclopedia, and develop new leadership development curriculum in the area of Ropes course initiatives,
one-day workshops and further refine CCI’s Institute for Forming Instructors (an IFI-16-days of intensive training to certify instructors in charge of teaching CCI courses).

  2003-2004: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
First family furlough will be a time to share the children with Lisa’s side of
the family, get reacquainted with the home churches, and raise funds for returning to ministry.

August, 2004: Return to Tegucigalpa, Honduras
