Lisa married Alfredo Umaña, Honduran
business man born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras
on October 28,1965 and raised in San Pedro
Sula. His undergraduate degree is from San
Pedro Sula University in Business Administration
and Master’s in Business Administration from
INCAE (a Harvard associated school) in
Costa Rica.


After several years of trying
to have children, Lisa was
diagnosed premenopausal,
being given a million to one
chance to ever have her own
children. However, God in His sovereignty, miraculously sent them Valerie Shannon Umaña Anderson on Dec. 21, 1999. One-and-a-half years later, Victor Alfredo Umaña Anderson was brought into this world, on July 2, 2001.


Binker, our German shepherd dog completes the family. Lisa immensely enjoys her combined duties as a full time missionary and full time mom.
