Twenty years of ministry has gone by, what has God
done?
Looking at
things from a business angle, some of the tangible,
measurable results have been the following. However,
I might add that while certain accomplishments can
be measured, some of the most important results cannot
be easily quantifiable, like discipleship and growing
in Christlikeness, which is the goal of missions.
- 5 training manuals with
their accompanying teacher's guides have been
written.
- 9000 training manuals are
in print.
- 500 games have been published
in the first Games Encyclopedia.
- 135 trainers have been certified
to teach the courses that use these training manuals.
- 200 in-depth courses have
been taught in 12 countries in Latin America.
- 5000 counselors and program
directors have been formed.
- 1000 camps have been programmed
due to the influence of CCI.
- 50,000 campers impacted
for Christ.
What will
the next 20 years hold?
My vision for
the next twenty years is to see thousands of children
and young people being impacted for Christ by church
leaders that are equipped to do camping.
- Tool for children and youth
workers and even those involved in adult education-20,000
volumes of the next Games Encyclopedia.
- Tool for camp directors-
5000 volumes of the Encyclopedia of Camp activities.
- Place to hold camps and
teach by example- Fountain of Life Camp.
- Passing the baton by preparing
a second string to carry on the training of trainers.
